2007 POLICIES & PROCEDURES

The Pantasia Steel Band would like to thank those day cares we performed for in Summer 2006 who were professional, friendly, and courteous. We really enjoyed working with you and your children. We would love to perform for you again !

Because of other day cares, there have been changes to our policies & procedures. To keep our business practices consistant, we will be implementing these changes with all day cares, regardless of previous, positive experiences.
Please read our 2007 Policies & Procedures carefully.

Summer 2007 Payment Policy

Day cares account for less than 5% of all Pantasia, LLC clients. Unfortunately, there have been more issues with non-payment and late payment among our previous day care clients than all other clients combined. Because of this, we no longer accept post-payment through the mail.
Our performers will arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to your first session. They will request FULL payment PRIOR to setting up for your program. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we regret that previous experiences have warranted this policy. If you are unable to make payment 30 minutes prior to the performance FOR ANY REASON, please do not schedule an event. We hope to be able to change this policy in the future.

Changes to the Signed Confirmation

Once a date is reserved, you will be sent a confirmation letter. This letter will state the specifics of your program: date, time, number of sessions, age groups, etc. You will need to sign this confirmation. Unfortunately, Pantasia, LLC, has experienced a high number of instances where upon arrival, the performers find that things are not as previously discussed. The time of the program is shortened, children are group differently, the schedule has been changed, there are more children in a session than agreed upon, the children are much younger than three years old, etc. If the change to the signed confirmation is significant, your day care will be permanently removed from our performance site list.

Rescheduling

Pantasia, LLC understands that there will be times when a day care needs to reschedule. We request that all schedule changes be made at least 72 hours prior to your program date. All changes made less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled date will be treated as a cancellation.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your date once a confirmation is signed, your day care will be put on Pantasia, LLC's prepayment list. All day cares on this list will only be allowed to reserve a date once full payment is made.

Class Size

During Caribbean Adventure Day, children have an opportunity to use percussion instruments, brightly colored scarves, and other special equipment. All of our activities are designed to work best in small groups and our program is able to accommodate a maximum of 25 children at a time. More than 25 students can be seen under special circumstances and for an additional fee. This must be arranged ahead of time. If the performers arrive to find they will be working with more than 25 students and this has not been previously discussed, the schedule will need to be reworked to form two smaller groups.

Age Groups

Caribbean Adventure Days are designed to be entertaining, as well as educational. They are specifically designed for children age 3 to rising 5th grade. We will work with children younger than 3 years old under special circumstances. Please make us aware of this when reserving your date, not after we arrive.
Our programs strive to be as age appropriate as possible therefore, we are not able to work with pre-K & kindergarten in the same session as rising 5th graders. Please group students in the same groups they would be put into if they were in school. When scheduling, please consider using the following categories: grouping by individual age, grouping by individual school grade, or a combination of pre-K & kindergarten, kindergarten-2nd grade, 2nd-4th, or 3rd-5th. If you have a situation where students must be grouped differently than suggested, please make us aware of this when reserving your date, not after we arrive.

Availability

Programs are available for as little as one hour up to a full 5 day, on site camp. Caribbean Adventure Days are available during June, July, and other dates when public schools are not in session. If you would like a program during the school year, please contact us for pricing information. It is possible we can offer the same discounted rates as those offered during the summer.

2007 Fees

Caribbean Adventure Programs start at $135 for the first hour. Each additional half hour is only $15. These prices are for session with 25 children or less. Classes can be combined under special circumstances for an additional charge of $25. Discounts are offered to day cares scheduling multiple days within the same summer and for day cares who prepay. Please email for details. Prices listed are for day cares located in Columbia, Irmo, Lexington, Ballentine, Blythewood, and Chapin, South Carolina. All other locations, travel fees apply.
